Let’s see, right around the era of the 2nd Iraq War, starring Bush Jr, and having a little time on my hands, decided to do some simple, cursory research into the other BIG decisions launched by the US of A-holes & Psychos, in the past. Big decisions that have always involved the loss of hundreds of thousands and, occasionally, even millions of human lives. We all KNOW that the GUV — with libelous assistance from the foreign owned US media — flat-out LIED about Saddam’s WMD, then invaded, and then killed – or caused to die – a shitload of fundamentally innocent human beings; not to mention the associated misery, dislocation and carnage. “Well, EXCUZZZ our exceptional asses.”
OK, so a little amateur research: Guess what Lancaster Merrin found: the exact, same brand of WMD-Lies stretching back to the famed Revolutionary War. Lies, character assassinations, slander, libel, false-flags, hoaxes, cover-ups, secret agendas, forced conscription, gas-lighting and . . . wait for it . . . more ffukking LIES. From the Boston Massacre, to those savage native Americans, to the blatant abuse of African Americans and the war, extortion and murder of Mexicans on Mexican land, ie: those drunken, toothless Texans at the Alamo. Hiroshima, Negasaki, decimation of North Korea, Vietnam, Serbia, Iraq, Libya, Syria. Did I leave anything out that might inadvertently allow the US to appear less like The Barbarian Mongols? Didn’t think so. Let’s hear it for: Manifest Destiny, Remember the Maine, The Monroe Doctrine, The Axis of Evil, WMD’s, Regime Change, Sanctions, Assad Must Go, American Exceptionalism – what a bunch of moronic, dangerous D.C. Dix.
Nothing has changed; no lessons learned. In fact, it’s gotten far worse and more lethal. ThankUjeezusMary&Joe-boy! for Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping and formerly General Qassem Soleimani who TRY to control this lying, predatory All-Amerikkan Freak-show. Furthermore, why would anybody in their right mind – and with a few critical-thinking skills laying around – bother to believe ANYTHING this monstrous, bloody propaganda-machine might claim about OTHER people currently or historically – in books, the New York Times, or on State Department TV-news. That’s just stupid.
With such a huge plastic trash-bag of NATIONAL LIES either discovered or confirmed, I decided, moreover, to SIMPLY research one or two popularly ‘demonized’ or ‘lionized’ leaders of the past; just to see if they were nearly as ‘evil-incarnate’ or as ‘gee-swell’ as constantly pitched by the US and the West. Starting with …. you guessed it . . . our favorite Halloween mask, Adolph Hitler. Was wondering if all that middle-school bad shit about him could possibly be true. Could Hitler have been SO horrible, while Churchill, FDR and Truman SO righteous in their defense of democracy, mankind and inter-galactic freedom? Merrin smelled a dead-rat behind the drywall. Well … uh … no freekin big SURPRISE! The unsubstantiated stuff, the vain-glorious, self-serving War-Winner propaganda stuff, along with the warn-out cry-baby claims from playground pointers and opportunists were, fabulously NOT TRUE. And, it might be extremely noteworthy to mention that there is, indeed. a particular tribe of individuals who find it loads-a-fun and indescribably advantageous to continue to DEMAND the dumb-ass ignorance and the blatant prevarications regarding the actions and motivations of Adolph Hitler — and, frankly, about ANYONE with the integrity and courage to disagree with said tribe. Q-2: Does Lancaster Merrin write, cite & DRAW with absolute certainty? Nope. But WHEN I consider the abject, base nature of the US establishment, along with the frequently conspicuous PUBLIC history of lies, war, genocide and treachery supported by standard, traditional, politicians, think-tanks, wealthy dual-citizenship lobby-groups, media-pundits and publications, LANCASTER MERRIN — except for maybe a tornado warning or local volcanic eruption — DOES NOT fly with those squawking, well-paid, prevaricating parrots. Instead, he flaps his wings with his own flock of trusted sources. And so do, as well, gaggles of others who enjoy and utilize those valuable and rare critical-thinking skills scattered about. These fellow humans carry with them a vintage, revived, or new-born sense of intellectual curiosity and bold skepticism as to mythical, feel-good things simply repeated and written into History Books, over decades – over and over again; and then force-fed to unsuspecting nestlings. note to self: lose the bird analogy

As every competent historian knows, there was no “civil war.” A civil war is when two sides fight for control of the government. The southern states had seceded and formed their own country. The Confederacy had no interest in controlling Washington. The war happened because Lincoln invaded the Confederacy. The Confederacy fought because they were invaded. The North fought to maintain the Union, as Lincoln said repeatedly. The South seceded because the Northern majority in Congress passed a tariff that benefitted the North at the expense of the South. Lincoln guaranteed the South permanent protection of slavery if they would stay in the Union, but did not offer to repeal the tariff.
